All Stamps seniors who are enrolled in the year-long Integrative Project course participate in the IP Exhibition held each spring, which is the culmination of their thesis work. The senior studio spaces in the Stamps Art & Architecture Building are transformed into exhibition space, with 4D work featured in a group screening and reel, and selected projects displayed in the A&A Street Gallery.

“Transcending Waste” is an immersive installation that addresses the environmental and societal consequences of plastic waste through a combination of sculptures, projections, and audio. Plastic waste is transformed into floral-inspired sculptures that frame and surround a projection of a digitally animated painting, depicting a surreal landscape made of plastic. The audio component plays manipulated sounds of plastic, emulating the surrounding soundscape of this surreal place, establishing a tension between artificiality and nature.

Three different pieces, One on the left shows a doorway that which leads into a room, there are no doors and the walls are slowly fragmenting away. One in the middle consists of 16 different 6 x 6 paintings which show the process of the artist leading up to the two final pieces next to it. One painting on the right which depicts the front of artists house in Taiwan, where pieces of detail of the house is missing, such as the door leaving only a handle, next to the door a metal garage door slowly fading into obscurity.

Razaan Killawi’s senior exhibition installation features sheer organza fabric hanging in layers, each printed with faded family photographs transferred using Citrasolv, evoking a sense of fragility and fading memory. In the corner, a framed tablet softly plays looping home videos, offering a glimpse into intimate family moments. Though not visible in the image, a jar of “pickled memories” is part of the installation. On the right wall, a photo transfer of both sets of Razaan’s grandparents is surrounded by dried pomegranate peels—symbols of heritage and preservation. Beside them, a frame holds sculpted pomegranate heads, each containing a family member’s photo, gently illuminated. The dim lighting and delicate materials create a quiet, tender atmosphere, holding space for remembrance, loss, and the weight of diaspora.

The images together have a very soft color pallet but when you view the imagery together you see how the content juxtaposes this initial sense of whimsy. The mood for this should be curious and a little unnerved as it's interesting to see both zombies and grief in a new way.
