Welcome to the bedroom of Lou, a well loved space holding cluttered papers, stories, and scattered songs close to Lou’s life.
Inside the bedroom is where milk and moons unfolds, a comic series following Lou, a young astrophysics student who dreams of making it big with their band, alongside their closest friends—Rusty, Niko, and Dali. Between late-night jam sessions, studying for their final project, and working cafe shifts, Lou is caught between the vastness of the universe and the intimacy of the everyday. Think of Lou’s room as your own. Step inside, flip through their world, and lose yourself in the comic.
I created this world after reading all about love by bell hooks in the summer of 2024, and wandering through comics at my local library.
If we think of love as something that moves through time and space, it doesn’t always follow a straight path. Old and new memories can feel harmoniously sewn. And just as light from distant stars reaches us long after they’ve burned out, we remain to see them, and think.
