The project, Drifting Series for People with Limb Loss, is a performance vehicle specifically designed for individuals who have lost their lower limbs. Initially, Jiangyue considered creating a minivan to facilitate easier access for wheelchair users. However, after receiving feedback from instructors and drawing inspiration from high-intensity wheelchair sports such as wheelchair rugby—commonly known as ""murderball""—the project’s focus shifted toward designing a vehicle that delivers excitement and adrenaline behind the wheel.
The final design presents a high-performance drifting vehicle with an innovative packaging solution that positions the driver further back in the car, enhancing both control and the sense of thrill. It aims to challenge traditional perceptions of mobility disabilities, proving that any group can enjoy the excitement of driving.
