Design has the power to shift perspectives, shape behaviors, and spark change. With The Lakeshore Collective, I merge environmental responsibility with community engagement, creating a space where people can connect with the Great Lakes while confronting the reality of pollution firsthand. By repurposing beach litter into functional, thought-provoking design elements, this project transforms waste into a catalyst for awareness and action.
I believe design should do more than solve problems– it should challenge assumptions and inspire new ways of thinking. Through immersive, experiential design, The Lakeshore Collective fosters reflection and responsibility, making sustainability not just an abstract concept but a lived experience. This project isn’t just about cleaning up; it’s about reshaping how we interact with and value natural spaces.
At its core, my design practice is about using creativity to strengthen the connection between people, places, and the systems that sustain us. By blending functionality and beauty with meaning, I aim to create work that serves a purpose while leaving a lasting impression; empowering individuals to become active participants in environmental stewardship.
