Lily Collins is a multidisciplinary artist exploring how immigrants build strong communities through the preparation and consumption of food using documentary filmmaking. As the granddaughter of two Iraqi immigrants, she wants to showcase the unifying quality that food has within her culture. She’s investigating the role of food in preserving cultural identity and fostering connections between generations. This project not only aims to educate others about Chaldean culture but also seeks to create a broader dialogue about the shared experiences of immigrants.
