Kit Parks graduated with a BFA from Stamps in 2015 and returned to the school in 2019 in the role of Fiber Studio Coordinator. In addition to managing supplies and equipment in the Fiber studios, they work with students and faculty to realize projects in a range of mediums, including utilizing plants from the Stamps Sustainable Color & Materials Garden. They are committed to fostering supportive and inclusive studio environments — spaces that grow collaborative communities and embrace the strange, inventive, and meticulous aspects of art making.
Kit commutes from Detroit, where they live and maintain their studio, as well as their business Spool and Dye Works.
