Celebrating the Class of 2024

On Friday, May 3, 2024, the Stamps Community will come together to honor the achievements of graduating undergraduate and graduate students. The event will be held from 1:30 — 3:30 p.m. at Building 18 at the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC) at 2800 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor. Please view the map/directions for more travel information.

The Stamps School Commencement Celebration is separate from the University of Michigan ceremony at the Big House. In 2024, the University of Michigan Commencement Ceremony will occur on Saturday, May 4, at 10 a.m. Please review the information on the website for full details on that ceremony and what is required. No one needs to register” for the Big House Commencement Ceremony since applying to graduate takes care of that. To see your name in the U‑M Commencement program if you are graduating in Winter or Summer 2024, you must apply for graduation by February 10 for the May 4 ceremony.

Students are not required to participate in any ceremony. At the Stamps School, all students on track to graduate by Summer 2024 and who apply to graduate by Friday, April 12, will appear in the Stamps School Commencement Celebration Program.

Stamps Ceremony Participation & Guest Tickets

Ceremony Participation
Please make sure you have applied for graduation. Both undergraduate and graduate students must apply for graduation through Wolverine Access. Additional information on the process can be found on this website. Any students needing assistance applying for graduation will want to contact the University’s Office of the Registrar. Please make every effort to do this as soon as possible.

Guest Tickets
All guests of graduating students are required to have a ticket to attend the Stamps Commencement Celebration and must submit ticket requests through this email no later than Friday, April 26. Tickets are required for friends, family members, and children two years of age and older. Each guest is required to present a guest ticket to attend the event. Graduating students registered to graduate do not need a ticket to participate.

Each student is limited to five guest tickets. The reason for the limitation is that the local fire marshal sets capacity standards to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this legal requirement.

The printed tickets that are requested in advance will be available for pick-up in the Stamps Dean’s Office from Monday, April 8, through Tuesday, April 30. If you cannot pick up your tickets during that time frame, please email the Stamps Commencement Committee to make other arrangements.

The event will be live-streamed online through the Stamps School website and on the Stamps YouTube channel.
