The Stamps Commencement Celebration will take place in Ann Arbor at the North Campus Research Complex, less than 40 miles from Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

Parking

Guests are encouraged to park in U‑M parking structure NC100, located north of NCRC Building 18. This parking structure will be open at noon, and parking is free of charge for commencement attendees.

Accessible Parking & Drop Off

Parking for vehicles with state-issued disability parking plates or tags is available in on the NC99 Parking lot located north of NCRC Building 18. This parking lot will open at noon, and parking is free of charge for commencement attendees. Spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The roundabout in front of NCRC Building 18 will function as a drop-off area for any guests with mobility challenges. Guests may wait at the lobby of NCRC Building 18 for the rest of their party to join them.

Event Accessibility

The Stamps School of Art & Design and the University of Michigan strive to ensure that all graduates and guests can participate fully in this program. On commencement day, staff will be available throughout NCRC Building 18 to assist attendees with accessibility concerns. 

Accessible Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located near the elevators.

Real-Time Captioning: Graduates and guests will have access to real-time captioning during the ceremony.

Accessible or Wheelchair Seating: Accessible or wheelchair seating for graduates or guests can be requested during the ticket reservation process.

Wheelchair Rentals: Wheelchairs for use on commencement day may be rented at the locations below. We recommend calling as early as possible to reserve a wheelchair.
