Michelle joined the Stamps School of Art and Design after working at the University of Michigan Library on the Dean’s Office Finance team, where she handled various financial transactions. She has over 20 years of experience at the University of Michigan, working in administrative and financial roles both on campus and with Michigan Medicine.
Michelle was born and raised in Michigan. In 2004, she left both U of M and the state of Michigan. She spent the next eight years working for a private company on financial assignments for the sales, marketing, finance, transportation, and warehousing departments. In 2013, she moved back to Michigan to continue her career with the University of Michigan.
In her free time, she enjoys attending various community events, taking short weekend trips to Lake Michigan, learning new technology, spending time with her husband, and watching animals in their habitat.
