As an Academic Advisor, Mai Ze hopes to be an ally who cultivates a place where students feel they belong here at the University of Michigan and are proud of who they are (their name, body shape and size, disability, identity, story, etc.). Whether students have a lot to share or not, Mai Ze is here to listen with an open mind and heart, eager to learn about what makes students come alive. With the support of Mai Ze's team at Stamps and partnerships across the University of Michigan, Mai Ze envisions working closely with students to help them thrive in their chosen field, address any adversities they may encounter, and prepare them for their future endeavors.
When Mai Ze is not advising, you will find her traveling around the world walking alongside elephants, running in an open field in the highest mountains with wild horses, llamas, and alpacas, and eating the most delicious food while laughing with locals.
