Erin McKenna is an interdisciplinary artist with a background in sculpture. Through a feminist lens, she dismantles stereotypes and reclaims offensive language or untrue assumptions. After obtaining her BFA, she co-founded No Place (Columbus, OH), a studio space where she and others worked, and held events. Prior to Ann Arbor, she lived and worked in Los Angeles for three years. She participated in the New York Studio Residency Program (Brooklyn, NY), ACRE (Steuben, WI), and Grin City (Grinnell, IA). Her work has been exhibited at SkyLab (Columbus, OH), ACRE (Chicago, IL), NADA (Miami, FL), Arturo Bandini (Los Angeles, CA) and Harold J. Mossi Gallery (San Luis Obisbo, CA).
