Rapid Shelterings is a poetic banner placed on a COVID19 food tent in downtown Ann Arbor. During the pandemic dozens of rapid shelters sprang up for the sole purpose of continuing business. These rapid shelters point out the lack of support offered to unhoused communities in our own neighborhood, and are prime examples of capitalist practices and misuse of resources that could be redirected for better use in the community.
