As a child and into my teenage years, I had a hard time connecting with characters in TV shows and other media because they didn’t look like me. The genre of media that I connected with the most was fantasy. This genre was something that mirrored the real world but was more fantastical and engaging to me. This is where I fit in. That is what inspired my project, The Curse of Jude. This project is an animated sizzle reel created to introduce audiences to the characters and the world in which the story takes place. The series will be 4 episodes long, delving into each of the character’s histories and personal struggles. The sizzle reel introduces the characters and gives you a glimpse into the first episode, where the characters all meet for the first time, and centering around the character Lynx.
