Handle with Care follows our main character, Beau, as they attempt to reconnect with their younger self, and heal emotional wounds. Reflecting on my own life as a young parent, it has been difficult to have compassion for myself, or to forgive my mistakes and shortcomings. This project serves as a note to self, to care for the hurt little girl in my own heart, so that I can take care of my daughters with compassion and empathy, and be a happier, healthier individual overall. Because that’s what this project is all about. Healing.
