Aqua Barbies is a mono print diptych that depicts my nostalgia and love for Barbie dolls. Like childhood, the process of mono printing is fleeting but also permanent – the moments pass us by, and are impossible to recreate. My work serves as a celebration of Barbie and her empowerment through soft marks and pastel hues.
