The primary image depicts the outside skeletal shell of the box with shiny ceramic trees growing out of it. This represents the restriction of the artist's mental disorder, while the trees emerging from the inside of the box represent all that helps her. Though the piece is ceramic, it has bodily aspects in its fleshy tone, spine, ribs, and restraining imprints, alluding to decay. The trees appear to be metallic with various hues, emerging through holes in the skeletal shell to suggest that there is a forest of growth inside, evoking a feeling of hope and flourishing.
