The image is a 2D render replication of a paper collage. The main subject of the image is a woman whose head and shoulder are visible. She is the only black and white subject in the image, and she is standing in front of a wall of rippling water. The water is filled with various shades of blues, purples, and pinks. Two betafish are placed near her head, as if they are circling a conversation around her. One fish is a mix of blues and purples, while the other one is a combination of shifting oranges, reds, purples, and blues. Her eyes are covered by a cutout of a strip of blue silk. In the lower right corner of the image, there is another extended rectangular cutout of blue silk that runs diagonally across her shoulder, and a yellow sunflower sits on top of it.

This illustration was my final project for ArtDes 100: Drawing Observation, in which I replicated a paper collage I had made before into a 2D illustration. I wanted to explore the concepts of censorship, control, and misinformation and how these ideas are used to manipulate our viewpoints of the media and surroundings.
