Self Portrait is an artist’s book that embraces the fear of failure when trying something new. In this piece, I learned how to set metal type and print using a Vandercook letterpress, make my own paper, create linoleum block prints, and bookbind. The entirety of this piece is handmade, with exception to the book board. Text seen throughout is my own songwriting work.
