Lemon Head

Lemon Head is an oil painting on canvas. I have always been drawn to the concept of personifying inanimate objects. The intersection between a clearly identifiable object such as a lemon and unnatural facial features creates a stunning imagery. A lemon is an organic object, so manipulating it's qualities and placing it in an inorganic environment creates a really interesting piece.
