The image displayed is a linocut print depicting a watery bog-like landscape in vibrant, natural, cool colors. There are two small children crouching down by the water, appearing focused on something happening in the water, that are the focal point of the scene which is surrounded by trees and rocks. There are blurry reflections cast by all of the objects onto the water including the children whose reflections appear to be older versions of the children.

With this piece, I wanted to explore human connection to nature and how we often become disconnected from it as we age. I hope that people view this piece and are able to recall their childlike feelings of wonder for the natural world and then inspired to rekindle their love for it.
