I Still Write Letters is a time-based interactive installation piece that allows viewers to experience the cathartic nature of artistic expression through the destruction of one of a kind objects. This piece also mirrors the emotional component as it pertains to writing as art through various fluids (blood, coffee, ink, and saline) as they drip from IV bags, flow off the pens and onto the writing desk below. People are encouraged to sit at the desk in order to immerse themselves in the almost chaotic yet beautiful life of individuals that describe their artistic practice as an absolute component of their livelihood.
