For my Integrative Project, I am creating a packaging and product design that holds customized buttons. It will actively challenge the societal construction of the "model minority" myth in the Asian American community. Each button is customized to illustrate an encounter with stereotyping. I'm inviting the public to take a piece of this project with them to provoke conversation with others that might not be aware of how big of an issue it is on this campus.
