PERSONAL PROJECTIONS is a collaborative multimedia video installation, in which students from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance interact with LCD projections in short video vignettes of personal memories. These 18 x 64 foot projections around the Duderstadt Video Studio's perimeter present a sequence of memories categorized by theme, portraying an important aspect or event in the performers lives. Images and videos are projected onto the subjects bodies transforming his or her skin into a canvas. The audience is invited to walk around and explore the environment through their sensory perception.
