I graduated from the Art School in '98 with a BFA in metalsmithing and jewelry design and have always been drawn to figuring out and engineering 3-D projects and problems. My choices of materials and ideas depend on what I have accumulated in my life, and once there is too much stuff, I have to create something from it. This piece can be understood from the following dialogue, and relates in part to my own financial conundrum, but even more so reflects a big problem in our society...

My mind: Your monthly statement is now available. Me: So I'll have a few sleepless nights ... in seven years it will be paid off.
