Nina Cambron: Recurring Patterns

Recurring Patterns

Nina Cambron

Patterning, real, from memory or deeper from generations past, are part of every individuals makeup. Thoughts, perceptions, religious imagery with its overtones or simply visual patterns we're drawn to make us who we are. 'Recurring Patterns' explores the interactions of our perceptions in a visual way. By melding these forces together using color, line and pattern, one is allowed to see how each of these elements affects the other. The technique used in this piece incorporates hand and computer drawn images that have been silkscreened onto individual glass sheets then cast into one piece.
