I created STATE STREET, ANN ARBOR while a student at the (then) UM School of Art. The vibrancy of State Street after hours energized and inspired me. This nocturne was later featured on the cover of the Ann Arbor Observer magazine and, in 2011, won the People's Choice Award in the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design Alumni Exhibition. I believes that imagination and creativity are not 'learned' skills; rather, they are innately human characteristics. I am forever grateful for the many rich experiences at the UM School of Art which have nurtured and propelled me ever since.
