This image is part of a larger wall-mounted diorama (18" x 65") constructed with 3D printed objects, paper mache, LEDs, and other found objects. Hidden buttons and switches embedded in the piece communicate with an Arduino Mega to alter the lighting looks as well as activate motors and display screens. These environments are an attempt to re-stage elements of our postdigital era into an ancient, primordial aesthetic, and are a reaction to a lifelong fascination with physical spaces, shortcuts, secrets, video game level design, and gestalt principles.
