My main job for the past 17 years has been a stay at home to two girls. As an artist, I use my work to help me find my identity beyond the title of mom. It is very easy as a stay at home, to become all about your children and loose yourself in the process. "Recess" is very much about who I am at this moment or maybe, if I am more truthful, who I would like to be.
