FC St. Pauli is a very popular football club in Hamburg, Germany. The 2017/18 kit designs were inspired by the impressively creative murals covering the city and club's home pitch. Brush strokes and drips were used to link all 3 kits together in a cohesive graphic story.
The home kit recreates the popular striped fan flags. The away kit mimics the colored bleachers in Millerntor-Stadion Stadium. The third kit is covered in a dripping camouflage print, which is littered with hidden jolly roger skulls (The club's tertiary logo).
As an on-field graphic designer, i am tasked to create graphic stories for all of our soccer assets (College, retail and international) after my apparel designer is finished designing the garment.
