Lindsay Farris is an artist and designer based in Detroit, MI.
She started making digital paintings in 2014 as a temporary solution for her perceived lack of time and space to create 'real' paintings. She realized that Photoshop and Illustrator were actually the perfect tools for expressing her dry wit, playfulness, and absolute devotion to color and shapes. Also graphic designer, she uses the same tools create client work with a very different purpose. As these two distinctive practices inevitably overlap and inform each other, over time the distinction between them may no longer be so clear.
