A poster designed for the United Nations' poster contest commemorating the 70th anniversary of the first UN General Assembly resolution, which established the goal of eliminating nuclear weapons and all weapons of mass destruction. The contest aimed to raise awareness of the need for nuclear disarmament and to inspire citizens across the globe to add their voices, and use their artistic talents, to promote a world free of nuclear weapons.
The playing card-inspired design depicts a theme of strategy and planning, paralleling foreign policies implemented by world leaders. Now, more than ever, it’s critical to emphasize that our future is not a game.
The poster received a Merit Award in HOW's International Design Awards competition, and has been featured in HOW magazine's Spring 2017 edition.
