I regularly scan my surroundings for textures, lines, reflections, shapes, & shadows and absorb as much as I can. When these images find their way to paper, sometimes they resemble actual objects, although more often they come together in abstract form. In this case, the title is accurate: I'm both settled and unsettled by what I've found. And that keeps me coming back to try again.
