My U-M degrees are in graphic design and art history, and I have been working as a graphic designer for General Motors Design for over 30 years.
I also explore traditional and experimental printmaking as part of my own work.
Subterranean is a collagraph, derived from my ancestor’s heritage as copper miners. In this print, as with much of my work, I like to explore pattern and texture, offset with bolder, simpler shapes, whether the work is graphic design or printmaking.
