During the time that I have worked with photography, I have seen many changes to materials and processes, many of which have significant impact on visual possibilities. I choose to continue to make use of a variety of photographic options, choosing the technical approach which best suits the concept of a piece. This is one of the reasons I was originally attracted to photography as a creative medium.
After revisiting the potential of pinhole cameras, I found my compositions and choice of subjects with other cameras (including digital) were being influenced by images done with the pinhole. While the subject matter might seem to be architectural form, I see them as more about the relationships of space and seeing things differently.
