Poster design was my greatest passion when I was a student at Stamps (so much so that two classmates and I created our own course around it). I loved how malleable they were; I could use them to promote, or I could use them to protest. Although my career as a web designer doesn't lend itself to much conceptual artistic expression (and frankly, I'm okay with that), I do make it a point to regularly design posters during my personal time. Love Trumps Hate was the result of my post-election bewilderment marrying my love for the Harry Potter novels, and my desire to take a bitter-tasting campaign slogan and flip it around to symbolize hope.
