I chose this piece for the Future/Former show because I feel it is a fusion of classical, and formal elements with contemporary technology and methods of image-making. The process used in the creation of the image was both informed and intuitive, and I am fascinated by the woven effect of the multilayered structure and the ambiguous space and levels of depth.
