At its core, my work seeks to germinate relationships between narrative, identity, and landscape, through concentric circles of state, city, and home. I am the product of rural agricultural and industrial labor families, and I am deeply interested in the margins of both of these spaces - places where the threads of a community start to unravel and fray into something less defined and measurable, less separate and distinct.
