As a graphic designer & illustrator, my studies at The University of Michigan forged a lifetime of acute visual awareness, daily study of life & nature which incorporates daily intrigue in the physical world around me. My personal interest in Contemporary Portraiture, painting and illustration is a daily practice. Watercolor is a medium that has a subtle essence with translucent washes applied successively throughout the process. The image slowly evolves as the tone, hue & values of color emerge into each portrait. My personal intrigue with my subjects is enhanced throughout each journey which, in turn, is further enhanced within the act of painting.
