The night before filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky left his family and homeland Russia, not certain if he would return, he hosted a farewell party. All of his friends wished him well, enthusiastically. But it was his German Shepherd that would not look him in the eye. These are three drawings in a series of 66, inspired by specific scenes from Tarkovsky's films, in which a dog or dogs appear.
