Handmade paper has an extraordinary capacity for deep embossing and this has been the primary medium of my artistic expression for 26 years. As paper sheets are created, a rich textural surface and exaggerated deckle edges becomes important. Embossing is created on an etching press from a master plate and color is then added by hand with the use of an airbrush.
