This photograph is part of series shot at Three Forks Ranch outside of Steamboat, Colorado. After years of creating manipulated digital imagery, I wanted to get back to the simplicity of black and white photography. Fall in Colorado, with its glorious clouds rolling over the mountains every afternoon, provided the perfect setting for such a study.
