Denying the realities that we face as a nation, whether it be racial injustice, COVID-19, the dismantling of the USPS, etc, creates a chain of inaction and no accountability. It starts at the top, and goes down the chain. The more you ignore what lies in front of you and the more you refuse to speak up, the more people below are strung along like monkeys in a barrel who simply do as they see.
