Tasked with mimicking the form and movement of zooplankton, I was particularly drawn to jellyfish zooplankton. I attempted to recreate the rhythm and soft movement of jellyfish in the ocean using otherwise semi-pliable material. Through making my creation I learned a lot about form, rhythm, and pattern. Jellyfish are just one example of how we find art and beauty in nature itself. I hope to replicate and interpret this beauty of nature in my future projects as well as comment on how nature is changing along with the climate.
