Second Grade is an ode to one of my favorite places as a kid: Ikea. I loved going to this furniture store and picking out the things I would want for my dream room. I usually never ended up getting the things I wanted, but everything about the place was such an exciting experience for me. I want this piece to embody the curiosity, excitement, warmth, and glow that always seem to present during childhood.
