Through this painting, Duck on the Bay, I want to excite and confuse viewers through my use of vibrant colors, layering, and rapid mark making. This work shows marks and practices first made digitally translated to hands-on painting and development of an installation. Through this work, I want to encourage my audience to enter into a world that promotes calmness, imagination, and fun, especially during these times.
