What the Tide Brought In is a three-act solo performance presented by a Black woman who unveils multiple layers of costumes while traversing intersections in her identity. In the flux of physical theatre meets performance art, this piece is narrated by the artist's voice taking on multiple characters in pre recorded voice overs as well as various musical excerpts in the realm of jazz, blues, and soul.
