A slide carousel projector projects MRI images of soft tissue growths in the artist’s spinal column. The projector sits upon a table full of parts from a previous project. The right was is filled with papers full of a previous project’s thinking and then overlapped by a poetry collection by the artist. On the left wall hang cassettes, some spooled with poems on paper rather than tape, slide carousels, rolls of paper, and various papers and tools, all parts of the previous project put on hold.

After six weeks of mid and upper back pain, lymphatic growths were discovered in the artist. This would not have been possible without the help of many loving friends whose hands put everything together when the artist couldn’t themselves. Thank you. You know who you are. I appreciate you all more than you know.
