In between when the snows began to melt and the leaves came out, there is a persistent gray to the landscape of February and March. Inspired by accounts of woven nomadic carpets that could serve as portable gardens for 14th century Persians as an antidote to the harsh desert landscape, this cart as a foil to the monochrome winters. Visitors to the tent drink hot chocolate, surrounded by the warm red glow of the interior walls, an unexpected visual and social pause on otherwise gray days.
