Freedom: permanent installation

Freedom was initially installed as a piece of guerrilla art in 2005. In 2013, the City of Vienna commissioned Assocreation to turn it into a permanent 3D light graffiti and connect it to the public power grid. The lettering, which is made out of a single 165 ft long yellow drainage pipe, has meanwhile become a landmark on a basketball cage between the traffic lanes of Vienna’s city ring road at Margaretengürtel.
