Homer is a reliquary for the home to store the simple treasures that mark life’s events: a personal letter, a movie stub, a carnival charm. These are generally too special to place in a desk drawer, but do not quite belong in a jewelry box. It may be used to house the special objects of an individual and be kept in a private place, like a bedroom. In a living room the contents may represent the collective memories of a couple or family. It is a simple, non-descript box, but is raised up on a majestic pedestal reflecting the nature and stature of the objects that it holds.
